As House's (Hugh Laurie) team looks for a link between her mental and physical symptoms, House reaches out to a former medical-school classmate (Ray Abruzzo) whom he wronged and gets a series of surprises in "Remorse."

On the eve of his resignation, Andrew Crocker-Harris (Michael Redgrave), a bitter classics master at an English public school, tries to come to terms with a lifetime of personal and professional failures in this adaptation of a play by Terence Rattigan, who wrote the screenplay. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days USA 9:00 pm ET

Ten days? Hey, sister, sit him down with this movie and you can get the job done in a couple of hours. Forty years ago, this would have been a Doris Day-Rock Hudson vehicle, but Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey lack that pair's flair for taking stale material and whipping it into something memorable instead of just, well, stale and whipped. This is the kind of froth that gives froth a bad name.
